Our wilderness medical program is like no other in the country. Our courses get you out of the classroom and fully immerse you in an outdoor environment. We hold a special use permit for over 11,000 acres of U.S. Forestry Service property located between the Tennessee and Cumberland rivers, within the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. In addition to wilderness medical care, each course also includes classes in land navigation and rappelling. These courses are physically demanding and we highly recommend that you be able to hike at least two miles carrying a 25 lb. pack. Our courses follow the guidelines of the Wilderness Medical Society and provide a 2 year certification from the American Safety & Health Institute. We offer a full range of courses for everyone.
